How much do I give my pet?
Twice daily, by weight: under 5 kg 2 ml, 5–15 kg 3 ml, 15–30 kg 5 ml, over 30 kg 7 ml. Turn the wheel on the plunger to the mark for your pet's weight, then give it straight into the mouth or onto food.
What is actually in it?
Enterococcus faecium (probiotic), kaolin, pectin, and a prebiotic and postbiotic complex. No proprietary blends — the full list is on this page.
Which size should I buy?
The 70 cc syringe is the everyday size and works out cheapest per ml. The 20 cc and 30 cc sizes suit smaller pets or a first try. Multipacks of the same size cost less per syringe.
Can I give it alongside my pet's medication?
Ask your vet first. It is a supplement rather than a medicine, but your vet knows what else your pet is on and we do not.
My dog will not take it. What now?
Try squeezing the dose onto food or a lick mat rather than into the mouth. If it still will not go down, email support@pawurgent.com — the 30-day return window covers you.
How much is delivery, and how long does it take?
Delivery is free on every UK order, with no minimum spend, and orders typically arrive within 1 to 2 working days. You get tracking by email when the parcel leaves the warehouse.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to return most items, on top of your statutory 14-day right to cancel. Email support@pawurgent.com with your order number and we will talk you through it. Sealed products that have been opened cannot be returned, for hygiene reasons.

Dog probiotics
My dog has been having tummy trouble on and off for a while - probably the heat... it's hard to know whether these probiotics have done the trick but they certainly haven't caused any harm. The paste is easy to dispense and store and is soft so is easy to mix in food so even fussy eaters shouldn't spot it! My dog tolerated it well and ate it mixed in with food without issue - but you could dispense direct from the syringe as some dogs might just eat it. It seems effective, has good ingredients and appears to help settle the tummy.

My GSD ate it happily
Got this for my German Shepherd and it's been a good one to keep in his kit. He can be picky with anything that smells even slightly “medicinal”, so the fact he ate this without hesitation was already a win. When his stomach was off, this firmed things up within a day and he settled quickly. The syringe is simple to use. The dial makes it easy to measure the dose, and the paste mixes into food cleanly. The tube is a decent size, so it doesn't run out after one incident, and the formula seems gentle enough for sensitive stomachs. It's the sort of thing that's handy to have ready for the usual minor tummy issues, especially with dogs that like to sample everything on walks.

dog tummy helper
I got this for our litter of pups they were at the stage of going on the garden which always means tummy issues because they try to eat everything on the garden like its some fun salad so i will always gladly try a new tummy settler product to see how it may help and this stuff is great. Gave to the whole litter in the morning and early afternoon all back to playing and being pups again and stools already on the mend getting firmer after a dose of this. Used this on the mother when she got an upset tummy it took two doses but it did have her firmed up before bed time. I feel this is a good product it gets to work quickly It is good value for money I have just under half a tube left after treating the pups and mom Works pretty quick Helps bind stools to become firmer easy to use can be a little messy yes I would reorder.

Very effective
While this paste is on the pricier side compared to some alternatives, it's still much cheaper than a vet visit and their recommended product, which is a big plus when you have six dogs. It's a handy product to keep in the cupboard, especially if you have dogs with sensitive stomachs or dogs that will eat just about anything they can find. I've found it very effective for helping settle digestive upsets and firm up loose stools, usually within a couple of doses. The dosing system is excellent. The plunger has clear ruler markings, so you simply turn the dial to the correct dose and administer it without any guesswork. The paste has a consistency similar to runny peanut butter, and while some of my dogs will happily take it straight from the tube, others prefer it mixed into their food. Another advantage is the shelf life, which means you can keep it on hand for when it's needed without worrying about it expiring quickly. Overall, it's an easy-to-use and effective product that I've found well worth having available for those unexpected tummy troubles.

Good for soothing digestive issues
I find that a good probiotic paste is essential to keep at home in the dogs box as I find it's needed several times a year and always good to have on hand. This paste contains prebiotics, probiotics & postbiotics which helps to support a balanced gut and healthy digestion in dogs and cats. When one of our dogs has loose stools this is my go-to solution and i tend to give it directly into the mouth which the dog isn't keen on but I know that they're getting the required dosage. Another of the dogs doesn't get loose stools but goes off her food and eats grass - again this is my go-to solution for her and it must make her feel a lot better as more often than not, she is back eating by the end of the day. I also like that this can be used for both cats and dogs as I can just use the one tube for all the family pets. This can seem expensive at just under £25 but it pays for itself many times over.

Ordered for our dog who seems to be able to get an upset stomach by just looking at the wrong food! This tube came just in time for another episode and we immediately knew what to do - rice, chicken and a dog that eats better than we do for a week or so! The paste is relatively odour free which is great for humans and the taste doesn't seem to bother the dog! It's great for settling down a dog's stomach and our pup soon recovered when using this. It's an effective way to firm everything back up again. Using the past is very simple - just squeeze the amount needed and adjust the ring so you don't squeeze out too much. Value wise, this is cheaper than if you purchase it via a vet and is exactly the same contents. Recommended!

Very effective - great product
Top quality product that is excellent value for money and a far better way of buying than through the vet! The vet will usually recommend a particular named brand (and then charge you high prices to provide it) but this is basically the same and does exactly the same as that well known named brand! I have used this a few times now as one of my dogs is very prone to a bad tummy when he eats certain foods (and he's a scavenger which doesn't help!) as soon as he has loose stools he has some of this and it settles him very quickly. The added bonus is that he likes the taste! It's really easy to use - he just takes it straight from the tube but it can be mixed into food / treats easily. This tube is huge!!! I didn't realise how big it would be to be fair - it's going to last well. Has a good shelf life. Once open I tend to keep in the fridge. Highly recommended product

Very good digestive paste!
This has been brilliant for firming up my Boxer's stools after she'd been on a course of antibiotics for mastitis during her recent litter. Her digestion had been a bit unsettled, and this made a noticeable difference much quicker than I expected. It really helped to settle her tummy and gave us peace of mind during a stressful time. I also like that it's easy to give, and the paste format makes it much more straightforward than trying to get her to take something else. You can either squirt the desired amount into the mouth directly, or put it on food. The suggested dosage is achieved by turning the wheel on the syringe plunger to the required amount. Overall, this has been a very effective product and exactly what we needed. I'd definitely use it again if her stomach needed a bit of extra support, and it's competitively priced too.

Works well
I keep a tube of this in our dog basket where we keep first aid and dog medicine in case of emergencies. Our dog has a sensitive tummy but insists on eating odd things he finds on walks and also drinking river water while swimming. He's a Labrador so no surprise with either of these things. If he gets diarrhoea, I tend to starve him for a few hours and give him some of this paste. You measure the dose using a spinning wheel on the tube, you turn it until it shows the correct dose which is stated on the box and then squeeze it like a syringe. My dog likes another brand better to be honest, he wasn't keen enough on the taste of this one to let me squirt it directly into his mouth so I used it like pate and put it on a dry cracker. He'll eat it then. I give him a few doses and it does the trick. The diarrhoea goes away and he feels much better. It's much cheaper than going to the vet but if it didn't work, I would definitely take my dog for veterinary advice. Handy to have at home.

Works a treat
Im very happy with this. I have 5 small little furry friends and just my luck ive ended up with 3 who are on prescription hypoallergenic diets. They do get the odd new treat here or there but it can be a common occurrence to have tummy issues. Usually i have always used another branded product like this as per vet advise for issues. I think 15 years down the line with the oldest dog ive grown to know by the look of their poo whether they're having a flare up or simply an issue can happen with just slightly more of their prescribed food than normal, i rarely get to the runny poo stage now thanks to products like this so i usually dose when its just softer and usually very quickly the issue is back on track. I didnt mind buying the on brand product but i previously tried something via vine at a fraction of the cost and it made me learn you dont have to pay a fortune or vet recommended products. This has been another success, i gave 2 dogs new vitamins well i gave them it all cats included and 2 out of the 5 had softer poops and one dose of this and its back to normal, its made me not dread the night where i might have been up all night taking them out. I live in a 2nd floor flat so running down the stairs at 2am is never fun. My girls lapped this up. These 2 are my easiest babies at taking meds they'd usually take something direct from my hand, thats what I intended to actually do with this for review purposes but i forgot and popped it into their dinner bowl not mixed just sitting atop their food. They lapped it up with no thought to it. The cats are the tricky ones though, when i next have a tummy issue ill try from my hand and amend my review on the results of that and ill update if the cats take it, but im predicting the cats as usual will need to be force fed it lol Even though i got to test this in exchange of a review its a product i know i will buy again and again As its effective at helping me out. Im thankful to the vine programme because i dont view it as its free stuff. I only select things im prospectively looking to continue buying, sort of like try before you buy

Stops the runs and the middle of the night get ups
My dog tends to have periods of bad tummy in the heat so during the summer we have the odd problem. This probiotic has really helped to keep things a bit firmer and stop the runs. Which helps us get some uninterrupted sleep in the night with no nightly wake ups It's full of good natural ingredients and my dog Larry has suffered no irritation either. Easy to use although he isn't keen when I approach with the syringe. But you can give the correct dose easy enough and I am reassured that it works to help ease any tummy issue. Cheaper than going to the vet it's a staple in our first aid kit for our cockapoo We gave Larry 3ml daily for 2 days during his episode and it firmed up his poo very quickly and he was back to himself again. I like the brand and the price point is decent for a product which is full of good ingredients .

Useful to have "just in case"
I have not needed to use this yet so I am basing the five stars on other probiotic pastes I have used for my dog. They worked well on clearing up bloody dire-rear and the first one was sold to me by my vet so I am confident in using these if this is the only symptom, if he was ill I would visit vet. The PawUrgent paste needs more to be given than my previous tubes, 10 rather than 7.5ml for his size so the 70ml will only last four and a half days as opposed to the full five days. The paste is easy to measure, this one has numbers on the push part of the syringe . At a price of £27.90 it initially seems expensive but if you know your dog, and are confident in what is wrong it is much cheaper than a trip to the vet. The only problem I had with previous ones is that my dog really hates the taste so I have to get a long way into his mouth to administer it.
